MCRB takes forward work to promote Transparency in Myanmar Enterprises (TiME)
To follow up the first Transparency in Myanmar Enterprises (TiME/Pwint Thit Sa) report, MCRB will hold its first capacity-building workshop for Myanmar companies on 23 September with a focus on the elements of building an anti-corruption programme.
To follow up the first Transparency in Myanmar Enterprises (TiME/Pwint Thit Sa) report, MCRB will hold its first capacity-building workshop for Myanmar companies on 23 September with a focus on the elements of building an anti-corruption programme.
Participants will have a chance to discuss best practice and challenges with a representative of Transparency International. The workshop is the first of a series which will focus on anti-corruption programmes, reporting, and human rights including grievance mechanism.

Vicky Bowman spoke about MCRB’s work at the last ever meeting of the Euro Business Forum in Yangon and was joined by Dr Thaung Han of Max Myanmar group, who spoke about the impact which the TiME report had had on his company, and Belinda Ford of Coca Cola Myanmar who spoke about Coke’s compliance and reporting activities for its Myanmar operation.
